Why is FSC™ CoC Certification Important?

FSC Certified
The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is an independent, not for profit, non-governmental
organization established to support environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world‘s forests.

FSC Mix
Products with this label are made using a mixture of materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, and/or FSC controlled wood. While controlled wood is not from FSC certified forests, it mitigates the risk of the material originating from unacceptable sources.

FSC Recycled
Products that bear this label have been verified as being made from 100% recycled content (either post-consumer or pre-consumer reclaimed materials). The use of FSC Recycled products can help to alleviate the pressure of demand on sources of virgin material, thereby helping to protect the world’s forests.

FSC 100%
All the materials are sourced from forests that have been audited by an independent third party to confirm they are managed according to FSC’s standards. Of all the FSC labels, FSC 100% contributes most directly to FSC’s objective and is the highest mark of distinction for certified products.

ISO 9706
Specifies the requirements for permanent paper intended for documents.
All layers of paper must meet pH level specification of 7.5-10, alkanine level should be 2%, tear resistance to be 350mN for all papers over 70g/metre square, and resistance to oxidation number should be under 5.0.

OK Compost Industrial
Packaging or products featuring the OK compost INDUSTRIAL label are guaranteed as biodegradable in an industrial composting plant. This applies to all components, inks and additives.

OK Compost Home
OK compost HOME guarantees complete biodegradability in the light of specific requirements, even in your garden compost heap.
Owing to the comparatively smaller volume of waste involved, the temperature in a garden compost heap is clearly lower and less constant than in an industrial composting environment.

Din Certco Seedling
The Seedling logo is a registered trademark owned by European Bioplastics. It proves that a product is certified industrially compostable according to the European standard EN 13432. When successfully certified, the product will fully biodegrade in an industrial composting plant leaving nothing behind but water, biomass and CO2.

Din Certco Industrial
Products made of compostable materials are given the right to use the compostable mark “DIN- Geprüft Industrial Compostable”. The ”DIN-Geprüft”-mark creates trust among consumers that a neutral and competent entity care- fully inspected and evaluated test criteria.

CPCB

CIPET India
The Compostable mailers are CIPET certified and ensure that the samples submitted are compostable. The percentage of compostability in 165 days reported is 91.27% . The sample also complies with the terms of compostability, seed germination and disintegration as per ISO: 17088:2012/IS 17088:2008 (where requirement of composability is 90% in 180 days).

ECF
