Towards this aim, The Good Packer has partnered with ReCircle,
a pioneering Waste-Management and Resource Recovery enterprise, under its Plastic Neutral Program, to develop a unique and customized plan for plastic recovery.
How Does This Work?
Under the guidelines of the Plastic Neutral Program, for every customer order placed, The Good Packer and ReCircle will recover or take back a proportionate amount of trash from the environment, as is generated by the order. This waste is recovered by ReCircle’s pan-India network of waste-partners, who are thus also enabled to achieve dignity of labor and fair wages, in an otherwise fragmented and unregulated industry.
Powered by Data, Analytics and Technology, ReCircle’s Plastic Neutral Program is targeted towards traceable, compounding and catalytic action against plastic pollution.
Collection : Low-value, Multi-Layered Packaging (MLP) plastic waste is collected from large scale areas such as landfills and dumping grounds, as well as from smaller waste-generators like households, offices and institutions.
Pre-Processing : The collected plastic is brought back to a segregation facility for further sorting and cleaning. The plastic is then preprocessed by baling or shredding.
Processing : The pre-processed plastic waste is dispatched for final processing to relevant processors; as repurposed raw materials
capable of being converted into new products, conversion to energy, road making and other alternative applications
